"The Annual Brandon Lions Ride for Sight"

The 2008 Brandon Lions Ramble 100 annual "Ride for Site" has been set for April 19, 2008 and will include rides of 10, 25, 50 and 100 miles.

The 2008 Brandon Lions Ramble 100 has a ride for you!

The beginner and seasoned rider alike will enjoy the scenic rides through southeastern Hillsborough County in the company of other cyclists.
Past participants in the Brandon Ramble have consistently rated it as one of the best organized rides, as well as, one of the best rides in the Tampa Bay area. Come join us, you will be glad you did.

Riders who register before April 4, 2008 will receive a free commerative T-shirt.

Proceeds benefit Brandon Lions Charities, a 501 (c) 3 organization, supporting our eyesight programs and other local area needs since 1954.

RIDES:

Rides begin at Balm Park located at Balm-Wimauma Road and CR 672.

  • 12 mile ride: This is a short ride that even the non-cyclist will be able to complete.
  • 25 mile ride: This ride travels a newly paved road with gently rolling hills. This is the ride for you if 12 miles isn't enough of a challenge.
  • 50 mile ride: Formerly a 63 mile ride, this ride was resturctured and you will find out why Fort Lonesome was so named.
  • 100 mile ride: Passes through Wimauma and Fort Lonesome.
